The Beautiful Beaches of the Central Coast

The Central Coast beaches are absolutely stunning all year round and the beaches on the peninsula are no exception. There are many kms of beautiful beaches curving along the coastline. The 3 main beaches on the peninsula include Ettalong Beach, Umina Beach & Ocean Beach. Other very popular beaches on the Coast include Terrigal and Avoca.

Terrigal Beach

One of the best-known beaches on the Central Coast, Terrigal Beach is a cosmopolitan seaside town, as popular with locals as it is with visitors to the Central Coast. The beach is a safe swimming beach, with smaller waves that surrounding beaches of Wamberal and North Avoca. There is a small ocean rock pool at the southern end of the beach and around the rocks into the Haven, there is a perfect protected boast harbour with a boat ramp as well as a small area of beach that is perfect for younger children. From the Haven they run fishing charters, scuba diving and snorkelling and have fish and chips take away as well as a cafe and restaurant. There are BBQ facilities available as well.

Avoca Beach

Avoca Beach is another stunning stretch of sand on the Central Coast. The beach is popular with the local surfers and Avoca village is a must to see.
