Ironbark Estate is a 123-acre property located in Tugrabakh, about 5 kilometers North East of Gloucester. The name Ironbark Estate is derived from 'Tugrabakh' which is an indigenous word for 'place of Ironbark trees'. The paddocks are currently used for Angus beef cattle, however when the homestead was originally built in the 1920s, this and most of the surrounding areas were dairy farms. At that time, the homestead would have been the main farmhouse for a lot of the surrounding area. The gardens were established in the early 2000s, along with the modern extension of the open-plan kitchen and entertaining area.
Ironbark Estate offers plenty of living space with a formal lounge/dining room leading through to the combined kitchen/family room. This great casual living space flows out onto the huge, north facing entertaining deck.
